BASIC INFORMATION

Name: Nyx Ulric

Canon: Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV

Age: ~35

Bio: A man without a past and without a future, Nyx Ulric is the definition of a tragic hero. He witnessed the resistance and fall of Galahd at the hands of Nifelheim, which ultimately shaped his path towards becoming one of the most distinguished members of the Kingslgaive.

SYMBIOTE INFORMATION

IOTA - REMOTE SHIELDS
At level 1, Nyx will be able to generate shields for those in his brood within a 3 yard radius. The shield will simply form around the person, as opposed to him being nearby and generating a forcefield. The shield's duration is capped at 15 seconds, and he will be out of energy as if he sprinted at full speed. These shields will only lessen damage, not completely negate it.

BROOD PERMISSIONS
Nyx is a man of deep loyalty and steadfastness. The brood will be able to sense him as a sort of a rock or point of stability as well as unyielding loyalty. They'll also be able to sense that he's as damned stupid as they come, performing incredibly heroic and reckless acts not to show off, but to make up for his loss and helplessness. He's as strong as he is now because he refuses to ever be helpless again.

The deaths of his comrades and most notably his sister is still present as an underlying current. Despite seeming focus and steadfast, Nyx feels very deeply. He just manages to keep them all controlled. Broodmates will be able to detect when he's feeling a particular emotion when he's keeping an even stare or seemingly unfazed expression.

One of the most pointed emotions the brood will notice is a sense of being untethered. He has no home and he's thrown himself fully into the life of a soldier. He's truly selfless, a man with nothing to lose. Almost rarely does he think about himself.

Outwardly, he is composed. The brood will know, though, that he's bottled lightning and a wildfire that can be carefully unleashed when necessary. Imagery the brood will sometimes see will include the green forests of Galahd, something similar to Italian ruins covered in scaffolding and hundreds of scratches, fire and explosions, huge daemons, and flashes of his best friends in the Glaive Libertus and Crowe. The voice of his sister screaming "help me!" may suddenly burst through.

NEST PERMISSIONS
People will immediately notice that he's incredibly loyal and has a willpower that could be admired. He's reckless and prone to heroics. He's the sort of man you could get along with and be friendly with, but they'll get a sense that underneath all of that, there's discipline. He's suffered incredible loss, but in this loss, there's hope and someone who refuses to stay down when he's supposed to stay down.

Nyx doesn't talk about his past very often, despite that he's clearly proud of being from Galahd. He'll try to stop people from prying too hard not because he's private, but because what he's seen is really nothing short of nightmares.

Physical Affection: Go for it.
Physical Violence: Go for it, but give me a heads up first if you're planning on it being pretty bloody and near death-like. Nyx is also well trained with a variation on Noctis's magic, but of course he'll have limits. Let me know if there's anything in particular of your character's style and powers so we can get the ball rolling.
Romance/Relationships: Open to it. He's also a very tactile man, so if your character is against touch, let me know and if you'd rather avoid it entirely or have him figure it out IC.
